Sevan Marine at ONS 2012 & 14 in Stavanger
Project Overview
2-Expo was honored to design and construct an exhibition stand for Sevan Marine at two, consecutive editions of ONS in Stavanger . The primary goal was to create an outdoor booth that embodied the innovative spirit of Sevan Marine’s floating mining platforms while ensuring functionality and resilience against the elements.
Key Challenge
The standout feature of the exhibition was an outdoor booth designed to resemble a floating mining platform. The booth had to be multi-storied and provide robust protection against the harsh weather conditions typical of Stavanger in August, including heavy precipitation and strong winds. Additionally, protecting the structure’s walls and other elements from moisture was a significant challenge.
Solution and Execution
2-Expo expertly crafted the outdoor booth, paying close attention to weatherproofing and structural integrity. The multi-storied design allowed for ample exhibition space while maintaining the distinctive look of Sevan Marine’s floating platforms. High-quality, weather-resistant materials were used to ensure durability, and advanced sealing techniques were applied to protect against moisture infiltration. The interior was designed to be both functional and comfortable, providing a sheltered environment for visitors.
Outcome
The Sevan Marine stand at ONS 2012 & 2014 stood out as an engineering and design marvel, effectively withstanding the challenging weather conditions. The innovative design and sturdy construction drew significant attention and acclaim from attendees and industry experts.
